<div>My name is Rudy, and just before Thanksgiving, my life changed in ways I never could have imagined. I was getting ready to celebrate a good friend’s birthday when I suddenly felt flat and couldn’t focus. I was worried I might be having a stroke. Thankfully, my friends acted quickly and rushed me to the emergency room, where a code stroke was called. After a series of tests, the doctors discovered a cancerous lesion in my brain. I had brain surgery the day before Thanksgiving, and now I’m recovering with 25 staples in my head.

<div> This experience has been overwhelming and has turned my world upside down. I’m facing a long road to recovery, and I need help with the basics—paying for food, getting meals prepared, keeping my home clean, and getting to and from appointments. These are things I never thought I’d struggle with, but right now, they’re a real challenge. The costs are adding up quickly, and it’s hard to manage everything on my own while I heal.
