<div>So, my name is Roy Hankins, and I have been battling cancer, specifically Nodular Sclerosis Hodgkin's Lymphoma, since March of 2024. This process has taken longer than normal because of my lack of an immune system. This has been a very uneasy process and one that has had its cost mentally, physically, emotionally, as well as financially. I have been down this road before with a GoFundMe, and I was hoping to avoid it in the future, but here we are. So let's give you an update.

<div>I’m currently in partial remission from Nodular Sclerosis Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and I’m doing everything I can to continue my cancer recovery and move toward full remission. At the end of this month, I have two important procedures scheduled — a <a href="https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diagnostics/lymph-node-biopsy" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong><em>Lymph Node Biops</em></strong></a><strong><em>y </em></strong>and a <a href="https://www.mayoclinic.org/tests-procedures/bone-marrow-biopsy/about/pac-20393117#:~:text=Bone%2520marrow%2520aspiration%2520and%2520bone%2520marrow%2520biopsy,as%2520well%2520as%2520fevers%2520of%2520unknown%2520origin." target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong><em>Bone Marrow Aspiration and Biopsy</em></strong></a>  Unfortunately, my insurance won’t cover the Bone Marrow procedure, which costs about $2,500 out of pocket.

<div>With ongoing medical bills, the cost of medications, Ubers to and from appointments and essential needs like rent, utilities, and food, things have gotten extremely difficult. Recent weather issues have made it even harder to keep up.

I really don’t like asking for money or help, but I’m at a crossroads where I simply don’t have a choice.
