<div>Vor über fünf Jahren zog ich in diese Nachbarschaft in Fürth und Martha nahm meine Familie und mich mit offenen Armen auf. Sie kochte für uns, wenn mir die Kräfte fehlten, und sorgte sich um das Wohlergehen der ganzen Nachbarschaft. Doch Martha war nicht nur für uns da – sie pflegte ihren kranken Mann bis zu seinem Tod, arbeitete ihr Leben lang hart und betreibt noch heute die Wohltätigkeitsorganisation “Essen für Bildung”, mit der sie tausende von Spenden sammelt, um Kindern aus sozialen Brennpunkten bessere Zukunftschancen zu ermöglichen.

<div>Ihr ganzes Leben lang hat sie sich für andere aufgeopfert – mit Liebe, Fürsorge und unermüdlichem Einsatz. Sie war immer die erste, die geholfen hat, wenn jemand in Not war.

<div>Doch jetzt steht Marta vor dem Nichts.

<div>Ein skrupelloser Bauunternehmer hat all ihre Ersparnisse – über 200.000 Euro – veruntreut. Ihr Traum von einem eigenen, sicheren Zuhause im Alter ist zerstört.

<div>Nun steht sie vor dem Nichts: ohne eigenes Zuhause, ohne finanzielle Mittel für notwendige Zahnbehandlungen und oft ohne genug zu essen.
