<div>My name is Ramone Samuels, and I’m from the community of Cold Spring in Jamaica. <strong>Hurricane Melissa has left our home in ruins.</strong> Roofs have been torn off, houses demolished by violent winds, and both our local school and church—places that shaped my childhood—have been completely destroyed. Families are grieving the loss of animals and livestock, and many are struggling to meet basic needs.
