<div>Hi, my name is Katya. I’m a mother of four girls—ages 10, 8, 7, and 5—and we are currently escaping a domestic abuse situation that lasted 12 years.

</div>

<div>This was not an easy decision. I stayed far longer than I should have because I was afraid, financially trapped, and trying to protect my children the only way I knew how.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Alongside the physical and emotional abuse, I experienced severe financial abuse. I was never allowed to work, save money, or build independence. I was married and pregnant at 19, and because of that, I never had the opportunity to pursue schooling, job training, or develop work experience. Leaving meant leaving with almost nothing—but staying was no longer an option.

</div>

<div>Right now, my daughters and I are starting over from scratch. We are working toward safety, stability, and healing. Funds raised will help us cover immediate necessities such as:

</div>

<div>•	Safe housing and utilities

</div>

<div>•	basic living expenses

</div>

<div>•	Clothing and school needs for four growing girls

</div>

<div>•	Transportation

</div>

<div>•	Legal and administrative costs related to our situation

</div>

<div>•	Long-term steps toward independence, including education and job training

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I am doing everything I can to rebuild our lives and create a future where my daughters grow up knowing safety, love, and stability—not fear. Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser, means more than I can put into words.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for believing us. Thank you for helping us start again.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>With gratitude,

</div>
