<div>It is more than just a place — it’s a community where friends become family, children are raised by a village, and time seems to slow down to a simpler, kinder way of life. Parents become aunts and uncles, neighbours become lifelong friends, and generations of memories are built together.

<div>On July 7 and 8, wildfire tore through our small Blue Lake community, and 8 families lost everything.
</div>

<div>Many of those affected were uninsured and now face the heartbreaking reality that they may not be able to return or rebuild without financial support.

<div>As someone now raising my own children in this same community, I cannot imagine Blue Lake without the families who helped shape it and make it what it is.

<div>I am starting this GoFundMe to help support those who lost their homes, belongings, and sense of security, and to give them a chance to rebuild. More than that, I hope to help keep our Blue Lake family together and restore the community that means so much to all of us.
