<div>Support the artists. Support the music. Help us create the next chapter—and preserve a living San Francisco cultural legacy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For 30 years, Peña Pachamama has been a home for extraordinary music, dance, artists and human connection in the heart of San Francisco's North Beach.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are beginning an exciting new artistic chapter: bringing together classical symphony musicians with Eddy Navia's original compositions, music born from the rhythms, colors and extraordinary energy of the great Carnaval of Oruro, Bolivia. Violin, brass and other orchestral voices will meet charango, Andean instruments, traditional dancers and the intimate Peña stage—allowing music rooted in the Andes to enter an entirely new musical conversation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At the same time, we are beginning work on Another Order of Reality, a documentary telling the extraordinary 50-year artistic journey of SUKAY and nearly 30 years of Peña Pachamama—preserving the performances, stories, people and improbable adventures that created this remarkable place.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your contribution helps make all of this possible: our artists and cultural programs, these new musical collaborations, the documentary, and—most urgently—the continuation of Peña Pachamama itself.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Peña is a San Francisco Legacy Business. But a legacy survives only when people decide that it is worth carrying forward.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you believe independent places where music, culture and community can still come together matter, please help us now. Every contribution—from $10 to $10,000—becomes part of keeping this extraordinary little place alive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Before Peña Pachamama existed…
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Before the concerts, recordings, musicians and dancers…
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>before the crazy idea of opening a peña in San Francisco…
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>there were two teenagers who didn't know each other yet.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One was sketching dreams in California, having refused to trade imagination for grades. The other was playing music and sports in the mountains of Bolivia, refusing to stop for any teacher who demanded conformity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Both were labeled “bad students.”
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Both were told to be practical.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Both ignored the advice.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They didn't know each other, but they were already walking the same path.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Years later, they met—not to settle down, but apparently to make the rebellion bigger.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They created music together. They opened a peña when everyone said, “Do something normal.” They transformed a historic North Beach speakeasy into a sanctuary for music, culture, food and joy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And all these years later, they are still rebels.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Only now, the cause is clear:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To celebrate life through music and dance.
</div>
<div>To give artists a place to create.
</div>
<div>To preserve the living musical traditions of the Andes.
</div>
<div>To bring different musical worlds together.
</div>
<div>To complete the documentary that will carry these stories forward.
</div>
<div>And to keep the doors of Peña Pachamama open for the next chapter.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>WE NEED YOUR HELP TO WRITE THAT NEXT CHAPTER
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every contribution—no matter the size—helps support Peña's musicians and dancers, new artistic collaborations, our documentary film, and the continuing life of this irreplaceable San Francisco cultural home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If Peña Pachamama has ever moved you, surprised you, made you dance, introduced you to music you had never heard before—or simply reminded you that places like this can still exist—
</div>
<div>please help us keep it alive.
