<div>On July 17, 2025, my son-in-law, Ruben, fell over 20 feet from a ladder. It was a devastating accident that changed everything in an instant.

<div><strong>Ruben is a devoted husband, a father to two teenage sons, and a stepdad to a young daughter.</strong> He’s always been someone who shows up for his family and community — now we’re hoping people can show up for him.

<div>While he focuses on healing, the family is facing the added stress of covering everyday essentials like groceries, rent, travel to and from the hospital, childcare, and ongoing medical care. <strong>The costs are mounting quickly, and the uncertainty ahead is real.</strong>
