</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Hallo zusammen. Wir sind Martina und Raffael (10).
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 SMA = Spinale Muskelatrophie.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 <br>

</div>

 More mobility, more smiles – for a life worth living.**
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Hello everyone. We are Martina (46) and Raffael (10).
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Raffael is a schoolboy who depends on an electric wheelchair.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 His story began with a premature birth in the seventh month of pregnancy. It took a year of close monitoring before his condition could finally be diagnosed – a year in which we fought for his life more than once.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 SMA = Spinal Muscular Atrophy. A rare, degenerative neurological disease in which the motor neurons die off. In most cases, this diagnosis ends tragically. But Raffael has been a fighter from the very beginning.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 The disease has denied him a "normal" development – despite the therapy that came too late, yet allows him to live. And that is exactly why Raffael is proof that fighting is worth it.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Without the right equipment, however, he cannot move closer to a measure of independence, and his daily life stays harder than it needs to be.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Raffael is a bright, communicative and active boy – his attitude is often an example to those of us who are healthy. ♥️
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Despite his diagnosis and thanks to his therapy, he is growing up, with dreams of his own – and needs of his own. He has a vivid imagination and would love to travel. But experiences like these are only possible with proper assistance, the right equipment and the necessary financial means.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 For Raffael, there is always a solution – even if it sometimes means taking one extra lap and making himself heard a little louder, because he cannot move on his own.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 He doesn't give up. And that is exactly why it is worth fighting alongside him!
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 So often, the greatest barriers exist only in our minds.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Raffael needs care in every area of daily life – something that challenges us as a family every single day. As his family carer, I am on duty around the clock. This care work is barely seen by society and goes financially unrewarded – yet it is what makes it possible for Raffael to live at home.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Your support therefore takes the weight off not only him, but our entire family.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 **What your donation will be used for:**
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 - Adapting our vehicle with a permanently installed wheelchair ramp – or a more suitable vehicle, should the adaptation not be possible
</div>
<div>
 - Care equipment that makes daily lifting, transferring and personal care easier
</div>
<div>
 - A financial reserve for emergencies, which can arise at any time when living with a rare disease
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Please support Raffael and help us improve his quality of life.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 **Your donation gives Raffael more moments to shine. ♥️**
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Thank you for your support.
