<div>In 2020, during a work trip to the Netherlands, my life changed forever. I suffered a sudden rupture of a brain aneurysm that caused a massive hemorrhage. Doctors saved my life with three emergency brain surgeries , but I was left with paralysis on my left side.

<div>I had to relearn everything — how to speak, see, and move — starting from zero.
</div>

</div>
<div>At that time, our daughter was only two years old . My husband gave up his career to take care of me. During the pandemic, we spent all our savings just to survive far from home. When we returned to Spain, I started rehabilitation, but we simply could not afford to continue. Insurance did not cover it, and the money ran out.

</div>
<div>In 2021, we moved to Tenerife , hoping the climate would support my recovery. In 2022, thanks to the kindness of friends, I received an electric wheelchair ♿️. It gave me mobility, but physically and emotionally I was still limited by trauma, fear, and pain.

<div><strong>A turning point</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In 2023, when our daughter started school, something changed. I decided to move forward despite fear . Step by step, I learned to cook with one hand, clean the house, go shopping, and even pick my daughter up from school. I wanted to be present in her life — to truly be her mom again.

</div>
<div>One day, she wrote a letter to Santa Claus :

<div>“Dear Santa, I want my mom to be like other moms again.
</div>
<div>I want her to walk and hug me with both arms.”
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>That letter broke my heart </strong>❤️

<div>And since the beginning of October 2025, I finally started physiotherapy, determined to do everything I can to change my reality.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>Update: Rehabilitation progress</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After a long break, I have been back in rehabilitation for three months now. For the first time in years, I can honestly say: it works ✨
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• My foot and ankle have become more stable
</div>
<div>• Two atrophied toes have partially recovered
</div>
<div>• The constant fear of falling or twisting my foot has decreased
</div>

</div>
<div>Even after just three months, I see real progress. If I can continue rehabilitation, there is a real chance that within one to one and a half years I will be able to stand more confidently and rely less on outside help.

</div>
<div><strong>Rehabilitation</strong> is not a miracle and not a quick fix. It is daily work through pain, fatigue, and frustration. Some days are extremely hard — but I keep going.

<div>For me, rehabilitation is not about comfort.
</div>
<div>It is about safety, independence, and dignity

<div><strong>Why this fundraiser matters</strong>

<div>Rehabilitation requires not only determination, but also significant financial resources. My husband works nonstop, but we can only cover rent, food, and basic living expenses. Therapy sessions and essential rehabilitation support are simply beyond our means.

<div>И с начала октября 2025 года я наконец начала заниматься физиотерапией, решив сделать всё возможное, чтобы изменить свою реальность.

<div><strong>Обновление: прогресс в реабилитации</strong>

<div>После долгого перерыва я снова прохожу реабилитацию уже три месяца, и впервые за много лет могу честно сказать: это работает ✨

<div>• Стопа и голеностоп стали более стабильными
</div>
<div>• Два атрофированных пальца на ноге частично восстановились
</div>
<div>• Постоянный страх упасть или подвернуть ногу уменьшился

<div>Даже всего за три месяца я вижу реальные изменения. Если я смогу продолжить реабилитацию, есть реальный шанс, что в течение одного — полутора лет я смогу увереннее стоять и меньше зависеть от посторонней помощи.

<div><strong>Реабилитация </strong>— это не чудо и не быстрое решение. Это ежедневная работа через боль, усталость и разочарование. Некоторые дни бывают крайне тяжёлыми — но я продолжаю идти дальше.

<div>Для меня реабилитация — это не про комфорт.

<div>Это про безопасность, независимость и достоинство.
