<div>My name is Annette Campbell; I am from Dutch Hill in Trelawny. I currently live and work in Florida, and I am no stranger to the impact of hurricanes and the effect they have on our lives. My sister Amelia, who is a teacher also in Florida, and I are championing this cause to help our community where we spent most of our lives. To say that the community is destroyed is an understatement. Therefore, <strong>we seek your help in getting the community back to some semblance of normalcy.</strong>

<div>We are reaching out with an urgent and heartfelt appeal for support on behalf of our families and communities in Trelawny, Jamaica, who have been severely impacted by the recent Category 5 hurricane that devastated large parts of our beautiful island.

<div>The destruction has been overwhelming. Many families have lost their homes and personal belongings; roofs have been blown away, roads blocked, and essential services such as water, electricity, and communication remain disrupted.

<div><strong>Hurricane Melissa has left behind extensive and unimaginable destruction across the country.</strong>

<div>As we speak, <strong>our people are in desperate need of food, clean water, clothing and toiletries, building materials, medical supplies, or any form of relief support.</strong> Every donation, no matter how small, will go toward this worthy cause to help us rebuild our homes, restore hope, and strengthen our community.
