<div>My name is Óscar Eduardo Triana, I am 32 years old, and I have been an optometrist since 2017.
</div>
<div>In 2021, I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a type of blood cancer. I received the recommended treatment and, as the best option, underwent a bone marrow transplant. Thanks to God and the support of my family, I overcame that battle. However, eight months after the transplant, I developed chronic GVHD (Graft-versus-Host Disease) grade 3–4, a condition in which the donated cells attack the body itself. Some organs were severely affected, and over time I have tried to live with this condition and recover my health.
</div>
<div>Today, my lungs are compromised, and I have had to be urgently hospitalized. Doctors have informed me that I cannot return to my profession, as my immune system remains weakened and I must avoid risks to preserve my organs.
</div>
<div>For this reason, I will be on indefinite medical leave. At the moment, I have no income to cover basic expenses such as transportation for medical appointments, rent, and living costs. Any help, no matter how small, would be a great relief during this very difficult time.
</div>
<div>From the bottom of my heart, thank you very much.

</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div>De corazón, muchas gracias.
