<div>Many families in St. Elizabeth have lost everything, homes, crops, schools, and even essential facilities like Black River Hospital, where I was born, have been severely damaged. People are struggling to access food, clean water, and medical care, and the community is in urgent need of support.

<div>Now, a week after the storm, we are beginning to grasp the full extent of the damage, which will take time to recover from. Seeing the place I grew up in suffer like this has been truly heart breaking.
