<div><strong>Waar gaat de film over? </strong>
</div>
<div>De shortfilm speelt zich af in het jaar 2049, in een alternatief universum, waar in 1965 de Koude Oorlog toch is uitgebroken tot een nucleaire oorlog. De overlevenden zijn noodgedwongen overgestapt naar een leven van jagen-verzamelen.

<div>In deze desolate omgeving, waar alles in haar omgeving haar dood kan betekenen, moet de verstoten Aliya na het ontvangen van een dodelijke dosis straling op zoek naar een vooroorlogse pil die haar leven kan redden, voordat het te laat is. Haar overlevingsdrang wordt echter op de proef gesteld wanneer ze erachter komt dat ze niet de enige is die ernaar op zoek is...

<div><strong>Waarom is deze film belangrijk? </strong>
</div>
<div>In een wereld waar de wereldorde steeds meer aan het beven is, en de woorden nucleaire dreiging steeds vaker gebruikt worden, is het enorm belangrijk om te bedenken wat de gevolgen zijn, en hoe wij als mensen kwijt zullen raken wat wij nu voor lief nemen. Aliya laat ons zien wat ons te wachten kan staan als wij onze grip verliezen, en vergeten wat de gevolgen van onze duisterste kanten -oorlog en vernietiging- zullen zijn voor anderen, maar ook voor onszelf, en onze naasten.
