<div>My sister, Shannon Goudie (LaDow), was in a terrible car accident with her son, Jacob Goudie.

</div>

<div>Tragically, my sister did not survive. She was such a loving mother, sister, and friend, and losing her so suddenly has left us heartbroken.

</div>

<div>Jake was  badly injured in the accident. We are so grateful that he is expected to make a full recovery, but he still has a long road of healing ahead of him both physically and emotionally.

</div>

<div>While we are grieving this unimaginable loss, we are also faced with the sudden financial burden of funeral costs and other urgent expenses that come with such a tragedy.

</div>
