<div>Hello, I am a friend of someone who would like to remain anonymous due to her being so afraid of her abusive and manipulating husband. She is afraid that he will verbally and mentally abuse her and their child even more than he ever does.  She fears more demeaning comments and disrespectful and inappropriate behaviors just because she is in a position of needing help.

<div>She now has the courage to stand up for herself and has for almost two years. But unfortunately the abuse still continues and she awaits for her day of Justice. She deserves freedom from someone treating her in an abusive way. She is a human being that deserves dignity, respect and safety.

<div>She has been through a horrendous couple of years. Her husband has committed threats of death, acts of physical abuse, acts of violent behavior, emotional abuse, and financial abuse.

<div><strong>With the help of friends, she has been able to file a case against her husband and has escaped the constant abuse.</strong> Though she has moved away from her husband, her husband has not stopped the harassment.
</div>

<div>He continues to harass and abuse her financially, verbally, and emotionally. He is using their minor child against her and continuously abuses her even though they are no longer living together.
</div>

<div>Although there are several court orders in place, he continues to violate them. She has filed several motions for help to rectify these violations with no positive outcome.
</div>
<div>He feels he is above following the law and court orders.
</div>

<div><strong>This woman needs help.</strong> She is in need of a vehicle so she can gain employment for herself and help raise her child. <strong>She is almost at the end of her case but her attorney's fees are mounting up and have not been paid. Her attorney is still choosing to help her through the end.</strong>

<div><strong>Due to the severity of her situation; she needs help with rent, a vehicle to drive her son to and from school, and gain employment. She wants to work hard towards the goals needed for a successful future with her child. These are detrimental needs that everyone should have access to. </strong>

<div>Spousal support order has been made by the court, but he refuses to pay thousands of dollars in support/arrears which led her to become 10 months behind in rent. These donations would be used to help change a woman’s life of abuse and allow her to stay in her rental.

<div>Financial abuse is still being committed. Her car is being withheld to halt her to provide transportation for her son. Spousal support is being withheld, so she cannot pay her rent and be homeless. All these actions of financial abuse so she can financially fall and lose her rental for her and her child to reside in.

<div>She is a wonderful mother who only takes care of her son. She has not had much work experience as she was a housewife. This is a very difficult time for her, and with the help of others, she can be allowed the opportunity of getting out of an abusive relationship and living in a safe environment.

<div>Like many women she was not allowed to work, which left her fully dependent on him. Every dollar, every decision, every part of her life was controlled.
</div>

<div>When a woman speaks out, she is often met with silence, disbelief, or worse…shame. If her identity becomes known, she risks being blamed rather than believed. Fear of what the community will say, and too often, women are pressured into suffering in silence.

<div>This silence is not protection…it is isolation.
</div>

<div>She is finally reaching out, but she cannot do this alone. Because she was not allowed to work, she has no savings of her own. By donating, you are not just giving money, you are giving her the freedom her abuser tried to strip away. You would be giving her hope.
