<div>Please help Olive get her leg surgery! Hi, my name is Rebecca and this is my dog Olive. She is an energetic, super sweet, and definitely goofy pup. She has a big sister, Zoey, who she loves to play with, and her absolute favorite toy is her blue ball. She is such a special girl and an important member of our family and is in need of an unexpected surgery.

<div>Unfortunately, Olive injured her leg yesterday when she squeezed under the deck railing trying to get to a bunny in the backyard and will be needing corrective surgery ASAP.

<div>After the X-ray today, the specialist found the luxation (dislocation) of her left kneecap and also a torn cruciate ligament (known as an ACL tear in people). The specialist is recommending surgical correction to stabilize both abnormalities ASAP.
</div>

<div>Needless to say, the cost of this surgery is quite a bit, and her recovery will require multiple follow-up appointments, medications, and physical therapy to get her back to her normal active self.
</div>

<div>This unexpected procedure is definitely not something our family had planned or can afford, so that is why I’m reaching out today.
</div>
