<div>“In April of 2024, the world fell apart for our family as we absorbed the news that <strong>ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig's disease, was taking over our daughter's 32-year-old body</strong>. This debilitating and life-ending horror takes everything - unfortunately, that includes money. This fundraising goal will help with widening doorways, creating an accessible bathroom, creating a ramped entry, and purchasing a van.”

<div>I have visited them at their home and boy, was I unprepared for all the work, tasks, plans, stress, fatigue, and raw emotions. I was overwhelmed. Bob and Katie are an excellent team and determined to make my niece comfortable, safe, and happy. I am so proud of all of them. But, they need so much help and I’m sure there are many of us that want to help, so I thought I would start this fund to at least lessen their burden financially. Any donations would be welcome and appreciated, prayers and good wishes too.
