<div>I’m Mohamed Suliman, a researcher and writer based in Boston. I’m launching this GoFundMe campaign on behalf of my friend, Mohamed Elfadil, a Sudanese documentary filmmaker, to help rebuild his village. The village is home to 500 people who have recently returned after it was liberated from the RSF militia.

<div>While they are overjoyed to be back home, they face a significant challenge: the militia looted all their vehicles and belongings and destroyed vital infrastructure, including electric grids, solar panels, and water pumps.
