<div>Hi my name is Nicky Staines and on behalf of Matt Westlake’s devoted wife Michelle , beautiful kids Aiden and Jade, his brother Scott and adoring family and friends….I have set up this gofundme to help the ‘WESTLAKE’ family through this extremely devastating time….
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>❤️ HELP THE WESTLAKE FAMILY — STAND WITH MATT, MICHELLE, AIDEN &amp; JADE ❤️
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One family. One devastating moment. An uncertain future. A community that can make a difference.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On Monday, 12 October, the lives of the Westlake family were turned upside down in the most unimaginable and heartbreaking way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Without warning, Matt Westlake suffered a brain haemorrhage requiring emergency surgery and is currently in ICU fighting through each day, one day at a time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In an instant, a devoted husband, a loving father and a dear friend to so many was facing a battle no family could ever prepare for.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>By Matt’s side throughout this devastating ordeal is his beautiful wife, Michelle, who has remained close to her husband as they face the unknown together, alongside their two wonderful children, Aiden, who is almost 21, and their gorgeous daughter Jade, 17.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now, their world revolves around Matt, hoping, praying and holding onto every moment as they navigate the most distressing and uncertain chapter of their lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A DEVOTED FAMILY MAN, A HARDWORKING TRADESMAN &amp; A FRIEND TO SO MANY
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Matt has spent most of his adult life working in residential construction, dedicating himself to his trade and providing for his family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Matt is so much more than his career. He is a loving and devoted husband, a dedicated dad to Aiden and Jade, a loyal mate and a genuinely wonderful person who has given so much of himself to the people around him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He has also been actively involved in his local community and sporting groups, building friendships and connections with so many people along the way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, this beautiful family who have spent their lives working hard, loving deeply and being there for others are the ones who need us to stand beside them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>THE REALITY OF LIFE WHEN EVERYTHING CHANGES IN AN INSTANT
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, the world doesn’t stop when life throws you one of its cruelest and most unfair hurdles.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While Michelle, Aiden and Jade focus on being by Matt’s side and facing each new day as it comes, the everyday responsibilities and financial pressures of life don’t simply disappear.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The emotional toll of this situation is already unimaginable. Added to that is the overwhelming financial uncertainty that comes with such a sudden and life-changing medical emergency.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At this stage, no one knows what the future holds for Matt or his family. There are so many unknowns, and the road ahead may be long and challenging.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The last thing this family should have to worry about right now is how they will manage financially while they focus on Matt and each other.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>WE NEED YOUR HELP ❤️
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are asking our friends, family, community and everyone whose life Matt has touched to please get behind this beautiful family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help ease the financial pressure and give Michelle, Aiden and Jade some breathing room during this incredibly difficult time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your generosity will help support the family with the practical costs and financial pressures that arise as they navigate Matt’s recovery and whatever lies ahead.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page. Every share helps spread the word and gives more people the opportunity to show their support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sometimes, when life feels unbearably heavy, the kindness of others reminds us that we don’t have to carry it all alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let’s surround Matt, Michelle, Aiden and Jade with the same love, loyalty and support that Matt has shown so many throughout his life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let’s give Michelle the opportunity to stay close to her husband, give Aiden and Jade support as they face the uncertainty of their dad’s situation, and help take some of the financial weight off their shoulders.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We cannot change what has happened, and we cannot predict what tomorrow will bring. But together, we can make sure this family knows they are not facing this battle alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for every donation, every share, every message, every prayer and every act of kindness.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let’s stand together for Matt. Let’s stand together for Michelle, Aiden and Jade. Let’s show the Westlake family what the power of community, friendship and love truly looks like. ❤️
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love, gratitude and hope for Matt and his beautiful family.
