<div>Just before her 18th birthday, our brave and beautiful Alicia received the devastating news no one ever expects: she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer. What followed has been nothing short of a battle — one she has faced with strength, grace, and determination far beyond her years.

<div>Doctors were able to remove the cancer, but to do so, Alicia had to undergo major surgery, receiving a new knee and having most of the bone in her lower leg replaced. This life-changing procedure was only the beginning of a long road to recovery. Alicia still has three more blocks of chemotherapy to complete, and her journey is far from over.
