<div>THIRD UPDATE: WE ARE AT $604!!! This is so exciting, everyone!!! THANK YOU and please keep donating and sharing this fundraiser! We are almost there!!! She can secure a monthly rental soon! Brittani drove to meet them in person last night and delivered Hope love and Christmas treats! Along with some food and emergency supplies! They’ve discussed future goals which are in place!!! SECOND UPDATE: WE ARE AT $584!!! She can almost afford to secure the monthly pet friendly rental room for $500 a month. We just need to raise the deposit now! We are halfway to our goal and thank you so much for helping them and for easing my mind too! THANK YOU KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK DONATING!!! UPDATE: We still need the following items for Jessica and the animals. 1. HOT TENT 2. Sleeping cot 3. Buddy Heater and propane. All of which were previously stolen from her in the city. She has since been moved to Richmond Hill and Vaughn further from amenities but closer to safety. She is temporarily at a Airbnb tonight again but we need your support in order to keep helping her. We can’t turn them back out into the street unprepared and unprotected so we desperately need more donations than the $270 we currently have. We are so grateful for anything we have received and it goes directly to Jessica and towards acquiring these items, and hopefully even securing a monthly room. She has nobody to turn to. She has a good heart and cares for her dog so much. He gets the blankets first. He gets food first. ***You cannot get financial assistance in Canada from the government without an address and you cannot go to work without a home to safely keep your things and pets ! Well neither can she. So please donate today!!! Help us reach our ultimate goal of $1200. Hi my name is Cara, I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and yesterday while scrolling on Facebook I came across a comment on a Canada Unity group post. It read “my dog and I are at a Tim Hortons right now. Someone stole my one person hot tent, and all of my camping supplies. My boots are wet. I’m more worried about my dog than anything else. It’s -20 outside today.” It was a girl around my son’s age. AND I KNEW I HAD TO HELP.
</div>
<div>People had been getting her hopes up all day long and then abandoning her again and again while she sat there in Tim Hortons praying not to be kicked back out into the cold with her dog.
</div>
<div>I put her into a cheap Airbnb. She is currently in Richmond Hill in Toronto. I could only afford 1 night for her and I am trying to come up with more donations so that she can stay longer than just one night as temperatures dip far below zero. Today is Dec 12,2025 she must be back outside by 9 am eastern time this morning if nobody helps her!
</div>
<div>I paid $96 plus tax. I cannot help her myself beyond last night unless I ask people out there for support. Every dime will go to housing this girl. (Temporarily with hotels/airbnbs at first and then hopefully longer term)
</div>
<div>Her name is Jessica. I did not pry. I did not ask her why. I know plenty of people asked and still did not help. So all I did was help. I knew I had to. God wouldn’t let me stop feeling awful all day long about it until I helped. And now I feel awesome!
