<div>Due to a failure on the backend of our Square account, payments for 278 cashier transactions did not process. After two weeks of investigation with Square, we have come to the conclusion these transactions cannot be recovered. It represents a loss of $13,900.00 to our society. This was not caused by human error, and our trust in the service provided by Square has been eroded.

<div>We encourage everyone in attendance to check their bank statements and/or their credit card statement/online accounts. If you do not see transactions for drink ticket purchases ("square" or "Chaine Val D'Okanagan") on your statement, then you represent one or more of the unprocessed transactions. You will not be charged by Square at any time in the future.
