<div>My name is Joanna Giles, and for over 25 years I have been doing humanitarian work in Nepal. I am a Patron of an orphanage and have helped raise funds for solar panels, cleft lip surgeries, and other life-changing projects.

<div>Now, our most urgent need is food.
</div>

<div>In Nepal, many young girls are tragically sexually abused by a relative and then cast out by their families. Let that sink in!
</div>
<div>Thankfully, Binita, a brave and compassionate woman, runs a home for these children — giving them safety, love and a chance at life.
</div>

<div>But the home needs basic food supplies for the 27 children in her care.
</div>
<div>Their monthly food needs are simple but essential:

<div>12 sacks of rice (30 kg each)

<div>25 kg lentils
</div>
<div>4 boxes noodles
</div>
<div>10 kg beaten rice
</div>
<div>25 kg flour
</div>
<div>10 boxes biscuits

<div>3 boxes oil (22 liters)
</div>
<div>2 crates of eggs (60 pieces)
</div>
<div>10 kg snacks (puffed rice, spiced lentils, etc.)
</div>
<div>2 dozen poppadoms
</div>
<div>15 kg spices (salt, coriander, cumin, turmeric, chili, etc.)
</div>
<div>15 kg sugar
</div>
<div>2 kg tea
</div>
<div>Cost per month: $2,600 USD
</div>
<div>Cost for one year: $31,200 USD
