<div>Help Bring My Nephew Home: Bond Due September 28
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Maria De Los Angeles Garcia, and I am raising
</div>
<div>funds to pay the immigration bond for my nephew, P.G.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>P. G. was initially born in Mexico in 1996, but began living
</div>
<div>in the United States at 4 years old. After that time, P.G. built a life in the
</div>
<div>United States, attending school, and filing his application for a U visa in
</div>
<div>2017. In 2022, U.S. Customs and Immigration Services determined the application
</div>
<div>is “bona fide” meaning at this time P.G. is only awaiting issuance of his visa.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Despite these attempts to remain in the United States
</div>
<div>lawfully, P.G. has been held in immigration detention in Arizona for almost a
</div>
<div>year. His attorney secured a $20,000 bond for him. That is far more than our
</div>
<div>family can pay on our own, and it is due by September 28.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Detention has been very hard on P.G. His mental health is
</div>
<div>getting worse, and he is not getting the medical care he needs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>P.G. came to the United States when he was 4 years old. This
</div>
<div>is his home. If he is released, he will live with me in San Jose. His family is
</div>
<div>here and ready to support him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have already asked organizations for help, but the bond
</div>
<div>is still unpaid and the deadline is only days away. Every dollar raised
</div>
<div>here will go only toward P.G.'s immigration bond.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you can give, please support P.G. today. A donation of
</div>
<div>any size, or simply sharing this page, could help bring him home to his family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
</div>
