Hi, my name is Zak. It is heartbreaking to watch the increasing number of animals with added pets being abandoned on the streets as a result of deteriorating economy in Turkiye. They are desperately seeking human contact. 
With the new laws allowing,  they are often being tortured, killed &amp; injured &amp; their food supply reduced many become malnourished and sick. 
Paws &amp; Claws started 12 years ago as a volunteer run legal Turkish charity to provide veterinary care for the sick &amp; the injured on the streets as well as food &amp; medication. As a very small charity, Paws &amp; Claws rely on your donations to make a difference for these animals in real need. This year, with the economy changing in Turkey, we are having a very hard time.
