<div>mein Name ist Max und ich bin stolzer Vater von vier wunderbaren Kindern. Zwei unserer Kinder leben mit einem seltenen Gendefekt – dem Donson-Syndrom. Dieser Gendefekt beeinträchtigt ihre körperliche und geistige Entwicklung stark. Sie sind kleinwüchsig und in vielen Bereichen auf Unterstützung angewiesen.

<div>Meine Frau und ich sind seit fünf Jahren ein Paar. Die beiden betroffenen Kinder stammen aus ihrer früheren Beziehung, doch in unserem Alltag stehen wir als Familie zusammen – mit ganzem Herzen.

<div>Jeder Tag bringt neue Herausforderungen:

<div>Therapien, Arztbesuche, Hilfsmittel – aber vor allem der tägliche Umgang mit Barrieren im eigenen Zuhause kostet Kraft. Um unseren Kindern ein selbstbestimmteres, sicheres und würdevolles Leben zu ermöglichen, haben wir ein Haus gekauft. Doch es muss noch umfangreich barrierefrei umgebaut werden – z. B. mit bodengleichen Zugängen, behindertengerechten Sanitäreinrichtungen und pflegegerechten Räumen.

<div>Dieser Umbau ist für uns als Familie allein nicht zu stemmen.
