<div>On August 4th at 5:25 a.m., our beloved mother, Sophan Sean, passed away from end-stage liver cirrhosis. She was a survivor of the Cambodian genocide—a woman of extraordinary strength, resilience, and grace. After enduring the unimaginable under the Khmer Rouge regime, she immigrated to Canada in 1986 as a landed immigrant, seeking safety and a better life for her family.

<div>Though she made Canada her home, her heart always remained tied to Cambodia. Sadly, she was never able to return to her homeland.
</div>

<div>We are now raising funds to cover the cost of her cremation and related expenses, including family travel and memorial arrangements to honor her life and legacy.
