<div>December 17th 2021 Lincoln left this home in an ambulance aspirating blood and in cardiac arrest . Gilmer County EMS must have responded in moments ....
</div>
<div>Life light was down due to fog but they heard a 9 year old male was critical in Ellijay .
</div>
<div>They called "time" time of death 4 times as I watched compressions and every member in that room trying to rescusitate this baby !
</div>
<div>I said please get CHOA on facetime ! please god !
</div>
<div>they continued to manually bag and compress as he coded when they tried the ventilator.
</div>
<div>The ground transport trauma team of Eggelston at CHOA
</div>
<div>blew through hours of traffic to get to him .
</div>
<div>I remember hearing is he still viable as they communicated his status .
</div>
<div>At best they all thought he will maybe make it a few more minutes ...
</div>
<div>CHOA got to Ellijay as they kept bagging him ! the EMS goddess Karina used every drop of epi and expertise to keep him alive.
</div>
<div>she was clear she said I have only 3 this critical one made it the other didnt .
</div>
<div>After 7 hours of ambu bags , strokes , seizures and horror we made it ...
</div>
<div>he coded again the 5th time . this doctor sat me down and said just keep him
</div>
<div>comfortable his last few minutes he said ethically we cannot do more .
</div>
<div>Somehow GOD took the wheel and gave me the words.
</div>
<div>I said please get in there and save that baby ! and I agreed that if he had another code I would accept it .
</div>
<div>He was on the Oscillator in minutes ...
</div>
<div>every few hours it seemed like as shifts changed they sent someone else in to convince me to cease life support .
</div>
<div>If not for our prayer warriors and some of my best loved people I could not have tackled the medical justification .
</div>
<div>Blood tranfusions , sepsis necrotic fingers and toes , lung collapse, dialysis and drains .
</div>
<div>Total organ failure ... his body looked like something dragged out of a pond after months ...
</div>
<div>they said best case scenario he lives on a vent paralyzed , mute , trach, gtube .
</div>
<div>The fight kept on !!! They said you just are not accepting the situation
</div>
<div>I said well take your rotations for update down the hall ...
</div>
<div>and I am sorry if my faith looks like denial to you !
</div>
<div>They stopped his induced coma ... total paralysis no corneal reflex response .
</div>
<div>The last attempt at talking me
</div>
<div>into pulling the plug I said
</div>
<div>I want to see what doctor wants to sign this ! and I want them in here now !
</div>
<div>Lincoln opened one eye , eventually both , he would move them to look at me but no one else ...
</div>
<div>My knees were sore from praying ...
</div>
<div>I said Lincoln please please you can do this ! momma won't make it if you don't.
</div>
<div>Out of every 1,000 doctors of all disciplines maybe 3 said I don't know but she is convinced he is gonna make it .
</div>
<div>by January 23 of 2022 !
</div>
<div>God showed out !
</div>
<div>He was extubated , eyes open and responding.
</div>
<div>Dialysis machine gone !
</div>
<div>Lungs functional and gave his nurse a thumbs up !!!!
</div>
<div>We were moved to a rehab unit at CHOA Scottish Rite
</div>
<div>They said he isn't talking and you are legit crazy mom ! and his cognitive prognosis is glib at best .
</div>
<div>They had doctors coming in to see this miracle baby recovering from SARS, influenza A , and Omnicron exposure .
</div>
<div>Well we showed them !!!! and God moved mountains ...
</div>
<div>Lincoln has the most beautiful story to share while he had his other side of life experiences ...
</div>
<div>when he is ready he will share it.
</div>
<div>For all of you that believed in God , Lincoln and his momma ... just know your prayers were answered .
</div>
<div>God Believed in me ... and Lincoln is beautifully mentally intact , his recovery is a miracle and he taking his first small steps with walking ....
