<div>This is a citizen lead lawsuit, we are a team of residents from Norman, OK challenging the state constitution. This case asks a straightforward but important constitutional question:

<div>Did this bond require a 60% vote under Article 10, Section 26 of the Oklahoma Constitution?

<div>Proposition 5 passed with approximately 54% of the vote. The issue now is whether the City used the correct constitutional framework, or whether a higher voter threshold was required before approving tax-backed debt.

<div>This is not about whether you support or oppose a homeless shelter. It’s about whether the Constitution was followed.
</div>
<div>Legal challenges like this move quickly, and there is a limited window to act. Now that the case has been filed, we need to ensure it is properly funded and handled the correct way.
