<div>Hi, my name is Ellie Turner. I am currently in year 10 at Weobley High School. Studying for my GCSES and hope to go to study forensic science.

<div>We have been given and amazing once in a a lifetime opportunity to take part in an expedition to Ecuador. The expedition will be organized by Camps International but run via Weobley High School.

<div>The expedition will take 28 days during which time we will be carrying out volunteer work helping local communities in rebuilding schools and repairing damaged and deforested areas.
</div>
<div>After the volunteer work we will embark on probably one of the biggest challenges i will encounter in my life. A 5 day trek through Cotopaxi national park. Through rainforest to and over the mountains.
</div>
<div>This trip is happening in summer 2027 so will be after my GCSES. It will be at the time I am thinking of college and university. The experience of the expedition and the confidence it will give me will greatly help in my applications and consequently will give me a huge boost to succeed in my dream of becoming a forensic scientist.
</div>
<div>The opportunity the expedition brings to both explore a greatly diverse country and help the local communities means a huge amount to me. I want to be able to see and help whatever and whoever i can but unfortunately the trip is not cheap. So to be able to go on the expedition i will need to raise funds through sponsorship and a programme of fundraising activities. so any donations no matter how small would be greatly appreciated and would be bring me one step closer to Ecuador.
