 Hi everyone my name is Paul and this is my story,

 The last 6 years have been one hell of a rollercoaster journey, myself and my family and friends never thought it would lead to where I am today, but here we are ….
</div>

 I’ll start from the beginning, rewind back to 2012, the year my Glioblastoma (brain cancer) was found. Now at the beginning it was benign and scans ect kept a close eye on things so life just carried on.
</div>
<div>
 Fast forward to 2020 my tumour started to grow and after having a biopsy this confirmed my tumour had became cancerous.
</div>

 I started my Radiotherapy journey in 2021 and went on to a drug called temozolomide ( a type of chemotherapy), this continued until 2022 when my tumour became a very clear grade 4 glioblastoma and again had to undergo further surgery to remove as much of the tumour as they could.
</div>
<div>
 At this point I was put back on the drug temozolomide once I had recovered from the intense brain surgery.

 With the brain surgery and treatments this effected my life in many different ways from mobility issues, balance, hearing ect but I told myself I wasn’t going to let this beat me, I continued to work when I could and put everything into life that I could.
</div>

 And now we are here 2026, Unfortunately early this year we was told that the tumour was growing again and it was now on my brain stem.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I was offered to do a second round of radiotherapy which I grabbed with both hands this finished in July 2026 but this time it hit me really hard. I was completely bed bound, I was sick if I dared to move, this changed my life dramatically far more than the past and far more than I ever expected!

<div>
 During this period I ended up in A&amp;E after with stroke like symptoms and haven't been able to use my right hand since and my right leg doesn't work properly anymore, again completely changing my life.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Now Here is the part where I need the help, we have been to see a new surgeon and a new consultant who both sat on a MDT meeting regarding my situation and results, they reviewed my latest scans and discussed my options.
</div>
<div>
 Unfortunately they said surgery wasn't an option for me and we had to look at different options.
</div>
<div>

<div>
 They want to put me onto a different drug now called Bevacizumab this isn’t available on the NHS but is widely used in other countries with good results, so now this comes at a price …..it's £4000 per treatment and they start at 4 treatments.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Which is why I’m now here …. I need your help…. I need to fight this !
</div>

 I served in the army, I fought for my country and I’ll fight this !
</div>

 I’m 38 years old and have my whole life ahead of me and believe me I will fight with everything I’ve got!
</div>
