<div>I know that friendship is essential to the soul.
</div>
<div>My friendships have enriched my life by celebrating each other's successes and standing by them through life’s many challenges. Which is why when my childhood best friend lost her sister to domestic violence, I felt that loss deeply. In America, we have a problem. 1 in 4 women and specifically 40% of black women and 1 in 7 men will experience physical violence by their partners in their lifetime. That is why, in honor of Ladonna Judkins, I will be fighting for ALL domestic violence victims by raising money and awareness for the Domestic Violence Awareness Project. Support me and my mission as I claim my crown as your next Miss Omega Psi Phi.
