<div>Melissa was a wonderful young mother of three and a loving partner to Lawrence. She was the kind of person who led with love—gentle, kind, and always thinking of others. Her sudden passing on Monday has left our family heartbroken and navigating a world that changed far too soon.

<div>Melissa’s greatest joy was being “Mom.” She leaves behind three beautiful children—Kaleb, Kaysia, and Lawrissa—who were the light of her life. She also leaves her partner Lawrence, her mom, two sisters, a brother, and a circle of nieces and nephews who adored her. We will remember her for her soft spirit, her warm smile, and the way she made everyone feel cared for.

<div>We are creating this GoFundMe to help Lawrence keep the family together and provide stability for the children during the next few months as they adjust. The funds will go toward immediate needs, including:
