<div>My parents, my sister, and my nephews all left our home in Rafah and are sheltering elsewhere. I cannot write any details since we are receiving news about how the occupation army is targeting and eliminating entire families by geolocation. I received news today that my childhood home, the place I grew up in and which contained my father’s library, is gone, destroyed by the occupation army. I am out of words, but not out of angry tears.

Ich kann keine Einzelheiten geben, da wir vermehrt Nachrichten erhalten, wie die Besatzungsarmee ganze Familien gezielt per Geolokalisierung sucht und tötet. Heute habe ich die Nachricht erhalten, dass das Haus meiner Kindheit, in dem ich aufwuchs und das die Bibliothek meines Vaters enthielt, komplett zerstört worden ist. Ich habe keine Worte mehr, nur Tränen der Wut.

<div>My name is Mohammed Alattar, and I am from Gaza. Currently, I live in Hamburg with my wife and children. I am reaching out to you to help me get my family out of Gaza as soon as humanly possible.

<div>On February 6th, my brother was murdered in a rocket attack. Abdalrahman was 33 years old, a father of three children, and the kind soul of our family upon whom my parents relied. Within a year, I have not only lost my second sibling but also my best friend, who was my companion in life and my witness. I wished that would be the end of our suffering, but he is the third person to die due to the occupation; my youngest brother Jaleel died of a heart attack in Istanbul while trying to improve his and our family's life and find a way out of poverty, displacement, and oppression that define our existence in Gaza.

<div>Now, unfortunately, my family is trapped in Rafah, and I cannot sleep or live as my thoughts are constantly with them. My family in Gaza is enduring unimaginable suffering, and I am doing everything I can to save those who are still left, who are still alive.

<div>My parents, teachers, and fine people who gave everything so that we could grow up in dignity. My younger sister, Inaam Al-Attar, is 28 years old and was visiting the family in Rafah, and since then, she has not been able to leave.

<div>My younger sister Somaia, my soulmate, childhood playmate, and the dearest nuisance in the world; she has been suffering since her husband died due to his cancer, as he was not allowed to travel to the West Bank to start chemotherapy there.

<div>My sister-in-law, widowed and who now has to take care of three young children and endure the hellish pain of losing her husband and his murder.

<div>Describing the agonies I experience daily is incredibly difficult. Sleep or a normal life is out of the question as I am stuck to my phone to read and hear the messages of my family and their voices. If I can sleep at all, I wake up with a startle, a shock and check the death list, praying and hoping that their names are not on it.
