<div>Kathy’s last job was working as a school nurse in the DC area. Then she got sick. Lung cancer, but she beat it. It took a lot out of her, but she’s a tough one. Now, her liver has decided to act up. Soooo…in a couple of weeks, she will be visiting Duke for a 3-day evaluation, and shortly after, a liver transplant. <strong>Needless to say, expenses haven’t been easily covered, and the travel itself is pricey.</strong> Duke is about two hours away, so they will need to stay for the evaluation in a hotel. I plan on being there during/after the transplant, so I can keep everyone updated.
