<div>At 47 years old (and turning 48  Saturday 14th March!), I’ve just been nominated to represent New South Wales at the National Championships.

<div>To be honest… I’m still a bit... stunned? If that's the right word? Some of these women in the team play for Australia! What an honour to be selected, I am in awe!
</div>

</div>
<div>Sport has always been part of my life. I think I got that gene from dad (who passed away last year. I am sure he would be proud of this one) I play because I love the game, the community, the challenge, the training and fitness, including the mental fitness required and the feeling of running onto the field with a team of incredible women who refuse to believe age should slow us down.

<div>But representing NSW at Nationals was never something I expected to happen at this stage of life.
</div>

</div>
<div>And yet… here we are.
</div>

</div>
<div>This opportunity means the world to me. It’s proof that you’re never too old to chase something exciting, push yourself, and keep showing up.

</div>
<div>However, competing at this level comes with some significant costs including time off work and home and business

<div>To take part in the championships I need to cover:

<div>So I’m swallowing my pride a little and asking for help.
