<div>Our donation level has increased to keep the page open since the project is still active and we are still hoping for additional local shops, cafes etc in town to show their support of Marlow and the community - and of course for residents to still be able to contribute.
</div>
<div>Additional funds are still needed to cater for our last paint order, permanent signage and hopefully some solar lighting on the wall.
</div>

<div><strong>We've painted over 50 out of 75 panels and 35 murals!!</strong>

<div>we have reached our target this amount is only a guide to cover our next paint order. We will still need additional funds to clean the path up and make it more beautiful.

<div>We thought we might be finished by the end of September but unfortunately holidays, work, rain and sickness have delayed us. Currently, we are trying to paint as long as we can but we are estimating that we may only have till the end of October before the temperature is too cold for the paint to stick and the rain begins but fingers crossed! No matter what we will be finishing painting the entire path - 75 panels come spring/summer of next year.

<div><strong>The Project</strong>
</div>
<div>The Path of Positivity started as an idea to support young people’s mental health; to give students a confidence boost or new perspective on their way to and from school by turning a dull wall into vibrant student artwork and uplifting messages. This footpath connects residents and students from five of our seven local schools, making it a key community space.

<div>We need<strong> </strong>primer, paint, UV/Anti-graffiti sealant, and supplies - we are covering <strong>300 square metres of wall!! </strong><em>We are using specialty outdoor concrete primer, paint for murals and sealant that will last for 20 years.</em>

<div>We need to plant something in front of the wall that is low growing to reduce the mud splashing onto the wall when it rains and make it look tidier and prettier.

<div>We are looking at rota tilling the soil to remove some of the surface weeds, ged rid of pine needles covering the ground and prepare the soil for planting and grass seed.

<div>Plants £TBD - open to recommendations for flowering shade loving low maintenance, low growing (15cm high) perennials

<div>We are interested in placing LED solar powered lights every so often at the top of the wall to create some light at night so walkers, especially women and girls, feel safer. If you have any suggestions please let us know.
