<div>¿Qué sucede cuando el arte contemporáneo y las máscaras rituales de México se encuentran en un diálogo surrealista? <strong><em>"Marchantes"</em></strong> es un documental que explorará este encuentro mágico a través de la creación de <strong>seis esculturas</strong> monumentales del artista plástico <strong>Jorge Sánchez Mejorada,</strong> diseñadas para el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Querétaro (MACQ) en 2026, inspiradas en la tradición viva de las <strong>danzas rituales</strong>.

<div>Este proyecto no solo capturará el proceso creativo —desde la ideación hasta la colaboración con artesanos—, sino que buscará romper la brecha entre el arte popular y el contemporáneo, dando voz a los danzantes y creadores de máscaras tradicionales. Cada pieza fusionará técnicas ancestrales con una estética vanguardista, revelando el <strong>misticismo</strong>, los <strong>mitos</strong> y el <strong>surrealismo</strong> oculto en las danzas mexicanas.
