<div>Five years ago (during COVID) I ran a solo marathon and raised over $10,000 for cancer research, thanks to the generosity of family, friends, and colleagues like you.

<div>I thought my marathon days were over, until my 17-year-old daughter Sylvie told me that she wanted to run a marathon and asked me if I would run it with her. She also thought it would be important to continue to raise awareness for cancer prevention and cancer research - a cause that is important to us, and important to so many of you who have been personally affected by cancer.

<div>We are training for the Twin Cities Marathon on Sunday, October 5th!!

<div>Our goals this time are simple:

<div>1) finish the race (ideally without walking)
</div>
<div>2) raise as much money as possible for cancer research
</div>

<div>Our race motto is: "Live Alive 2025"
</div>
<div>We run for the loved ones we have lost, for all survivors, and to help those who will face cancer in the future.
