<div>Derwin recently began the 24rd year of a 30 year sentence despite being eligible for parole. He has endured much physical and mental suffering due to medical neglect and racist abuse from both staff and other prisoners.

<div>That is why I’m raising money to hire an attorney in the hopes that his dire situation will finally get the attention it deserves. When I told Derwin I was setting this up he wanted to be sure I told everyone who donates or helps him that he appreciates it from the bottom of his heart.
