<div>During October I will be challenging myself to walk <strong>100 miles</strong> in order to raise funds for my son Charlie's football team, <strong>Laughton FC U11 Reds.</strong>

<div>As many of you know, grassroots teams rely purely on donations / fundraising efforts of various forms and so I wanted to give something back to a sport &amp; team that means so much to me, and my family. 
</div>

<div>Having undertaken this challenge before it is not easy, and often the unpredictable weather in October means a lot of miles are covered in the wind and rain. It takes a lot of motivation to keep going especially as the miles rack up through the month. 
</div>

</div>
<div>I am a keen walker and love to be outdoors so I am excited for this challenge. I love to walk with friends and family members who make the walks so much more enjoyable. I am already grateful to those who have agreed to undertake some of the longer walks with me that I will need to do to have a chance of reaching the magic number! 
</div>
