<div>We are a group of Lāhainā filmmakers who created <a href="https://www.lahainarising.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Lāhainā Rising</a> , a documentary about the August 8, 2023 wildfires that forever changed our town.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The film captures the chaos, loss, and courage of that day, when more than 13,000 residents were displaced. At its heart, it highlights the resilience of the Lāhainā community and how local families came together to support one another and begin rebuilding.

<div>As we begin premiering this film, we’re extending this work beyond the screen. Through our Community Education &amp; Impact Campaign, we aim to make <em>Lāhainā Rising </em>accessible to counties and communities nationwide as a resource for learning, reflection, and connection.

<div>Every share and contribution helps carry this story forward and create space for meaningful dialogue in communities everywhere.
