<div>In February, I cycled 576 mi/937 km during a 24-hour, non-drafting race. This is the furthest documented distance completed by any American cyclist. During the difficult moments of that race, my mom's familiar voice entered my mind as I recalled hearing her cheers beneath the water during high school swim meets. She has always been my biggest cheerleader!
