While much of her medical care will be covered, the reality of treatment will likely bring many additional and unexpected costs — from recovery and comfort items at home, to medications, travel and parking for appointments, and extra support during recovery. At the same time, Neil may need to reduce his 'side hustle' painting business as he cares for her.
