If you or anyone close to you has ever broken a leg, then you know how hard it can be to get by. How life-changing it can be. Willie has broken both of his legs. He will not be able to walk for at least 2 months, and then he will have to learn how to walk again. He will not be able to work for 3-4 months, depending on how fast he can recover.

<div>We are not asking for help with his medical expenses; there should be some kind of insurance to help with that. <strong>We are asking for help with his household expenses.</strong> The mortgage, utilities, and food for his family are the top priorities. He also will have to make several trips (possibly overnight) to a hospital several hours away. He is estimating this all to cost around $13,000 over the next 4 months.

We are seeing this hardship as the best outcome of his fall; his legs broke his fall and because of that, he is still here with us.
