<div>In den letzten drei Jahren war ich in zwölf verschiedenen Krankenhäusern, wurde acht Mal operiert – und habe vier Mal nur knapp überlebt.

<div>Doch ich gebe nicht auf.

<div>Ich kämpfe jeden Tag darum, ein Stück Normalität zurückzugewinnen – mit einem klaren Ziel vor Augen: wieder laufen zu können.

<div>Da die Reha in Deutschland bis zu 30.000 € pro Monat kostet und nicht von der Krankenkasse übernommen wird, haben meine Frau und ich uns entschieden, auf eigene Kosten zur Spezialklinik „Institut Guttmann“ in Barcelona zu gehen.
</div>
<div>Dort kostet die Reha rund 8.000 € im Monat – eine große Summe, aber meine einzige realistische Chance.
</div>
<div>Meine Frau hat ihren Beruf aufgegeben, um sich rund um die Uhr um mich zu kümmern. Und meine 94-jährige Mutter wünscht sich nur eines: mich wieder auf den Beinen zu sehen.

<div>Vor zwei Jahren haben wir eine GoFundMe-Kampagne gestartet und etwa 10.000 € gesammelt. Das war eine große Hilfe, um einen Teil der Therapie zu finanzieren. Jetzt suchen wir Unterstützung, um ein weiteres volles Jahr Therapie mitzufinanzieren und die Chancen, wieder zu gehen, zu maximieren.
