<div>My name is Heide Adams. On December 2, my oldest granddaughter, <strong>Kalea, was taken to Seattle Children’s Hospital</strong>. She has since been diagnosed with <strong>acute myeloid leukemia</strong>. Everything has happened so suddenly, and she is currently in critical condition. <strong>This will require extensive medical treatment lasting many months into years.</strong> My oldest daughter also has two younger boys to care for as well. All money raised will be used to support Kalea’s medical bills and family expenses so that her parents are able to be with her and support her during this time. Kalea and her family are in the fight of their lives. Kalea is a sweet , kind , caring girl. She is an an amazing big sister. Any donation, regardless of amount, would be so greatly appreciated. <div>update : Kalea continues to be intubated and sedated , her diagnosis has been updated to Acute myeloid leukemia monosomy 7,  this subtype puts her medical condition into an even more challenging battle.  She has received somewhere around 18 infusions of chemotherapy     Since Monday , she has intercranial pressure which they are monitoring around the clock . For all those who have donated  and shared this our family thanks you so much . We will continue to update you. Keep Kalea in your prayers please
