In August 2025, I was dismissed from my job at a nursery because of short TikTok-style videos I shared on my private social media, <b>expressing a pro-Palestinian stance</b> against the ongoing genocide in Gaza. These posts <b>opposed the atrocities taking place,</b> including the killing of thousands of innocent people, many of them <b>children</b>. My position was humanitarian in essence, rooted in the belief that every child, everywhere, deserves safety, peace, and dignity, and that <b>those responsible must be stopped and held accountable</b>.

Caring for children is not just a job to me; it is part of who I am. As a nursery worker, my duty has always been to protect, nurture, and advocate for children’s safety. Taking a moral stance against genocide aligns naturally with that duty and with the values of compassion and justice I uphold every day in my work.
