<div><span style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">I'm Jude --- a disabled, neurodivergent, queer, non-binary trans, Italo-Brit multimedia storyteller (visual artist/speculative fiction writer/performance poet/theatre-maker/photographer) of Polish origin, who relocated to Scotland last year to pursue the creative life of his dreams.</span>

<div>Those dreams include a few gender-affirming procedures, i.e:

<div>My prospective surgeon is Dr Gennaro Selvaggi, a fellow Italian who practises in Sweden. He's a leader in his field, and has experience of the (not very common, unavailable on the NHS, not allowed in Italy at all) kind of phalloplasty that would make me finally feel like <i>me</i> from the waist down.

<div>Last I spoke to Dr Selvaggi, he quoted me the following:

<div style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">My combined conditions leave me with a limited capacity for work (I have been out of what the Department for Work and Pensions calls "gainful employment" for over 6 years), and severely impact my overall quality of life.

<div style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">When I originally wrote this, I said that I was "<span style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">on the hunt for an accessible day job that will allow me to be independent," and I meant it. But honestly, I don't know when/if/to what extent I'll ever be able to return to work. Currently, </span><span style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">the unreasonable amount of admin that goes into being a disabled trans person in the UK takes up most of my very finite energy.</span>

<div>Therefore, I have to rely on mutual aid to save for gender-affirming care. I had previously raised just over £300 through PayPal Moneybox, but ended up needing that money for continued survival. So, this is me starting again from scratch.

<div>I know times are hard for everyone, and they've been for far too long. The world seems to constantly be on fire. It's hard to feel worthy of (let alone ask for) help when there are so many people/causes in need of support.

<div>But if I were to show myself the grace I endeavour to show others, I would say this:
